Haller Farmers shares affordable, organic and environmentally friendly farming techniques to help you transform your land and improve your livelihood. This app has been designed with smallholder farmers in mind, with techniques that are all low cost and sustainable: making them widely replicable across Africa.

In 2004, The Haller Foundation was set up in order to educate rural farmers on sustainable farming techniques to maximise food production and build self-sufficient communities. Since then, Haller has worked with over 25,000 people from 57 different communities in Kenya and transformed their lives for the better.

The Haller Foundation cannot reach and support every farmer directly, however, this app can teach you the Haller techniques that can make a real difference. With this app you will be able to know how to prepare your land, collect clean water and grow a variety of crops; you will have the knowledge and the power to change your life.

All of the farming information within this app has been tried and tested over the past 60 years with a key focus around Health, Education and Conservation. The ‘My Plot’ feature acts as a visual representation of an ideal plot of land - a map of how your farm should be using minimal effort for maximum production.

Haller is constantly looking for new ideas and innovations to make your life easier so please have a look at the new ideas section. If you have an innovation you would like to share, please post on the Noticeboard!

Our app is available to download for free. Once downloaded, articles that you browse while online, will also be available when not connected to WiFi or data. Please note that you must browse your desired articles when connected to WiFi or data before going fully offline.
